Ketchup 450 g
Water 250 ml
Onion 20 g, finely minced
Margarine 15 ml (or oil)
Paprika 3,5 to 7 g, sweet
Curry powder 15 to 30 g
Follow step by step our currywurst recipe:
First of all, sauté the onion in the oil until it is transparent.
After that, add paprika and curry powder to onions and quickly sauté it just to bring out the flavor.
Then add the ketchup and water.
Boil uncovered until the sauce is thick.
Taste and adjust seasonings if desired.
Serve the currywurst sauce over Bratwurst with an extra sprinkling of curry powder.
